Scope of Work

What Our Block Packages Cover

01

Load-Bearing CMU Shells

Reinforced block walls laid to the line with clean coursing, tooled joints, and grouted cells where the engineer calls for them.

02

Tie Beams & Bond Beams

Formed and poured tie beams with continuous reinforcement to tie the shell together and carry roof and floor loads.

03

Columns & Lintels

Filled cells, poured columns, and precast or formed lintels at every opening, coordinated with the structural plan set.

04

Stem Walls & Knee Walls

Block stem walls on footings for elevated and sloped sites, plus site and knee walls where grade changes demand them.

05

Hurricane-Rated Anchorage

Dowels, straps, and anchor bolts installed to schedule so uplift and shear paths are continuous from footing to roof.

06

Retaining & Site Walls

Structural retaining walls detailed for load, drainage, and Florida soil conditions.

How We Work

From Plan Review to Grouted Shell

Plan Review

We take off the block from the engineered drawings and flag conflicts in reinforcement, openings, and embed locations before mobilizing.

Layout & Dry Course

Walls are chalked, corners squared, and coursing checked against elevations so openings land where the plans put them.

Lay & Reinforce

Block goes up plumb and true with rebar, dowels, and cleanouts set per the structural schedule.

Grout & Inspect

Cells and beams are grouted after inspection sign-off, then the shell is left clean and ready for framing and trades.

Florida Building Code

Masonry Standards We Build To

Block work carries the structure above it, so every course is built against the engineered drawings and the Florida Building Code provisions for masonry. We keep the work inspection-ready so framing, plumbing, and structural trades move in without rework.

  • Reinforcement, splice lengths, and grout spacing executed to the engineer's schedule
  • Continuous load path detailing for high-velocity hurricane and coastal exposure zones
  • Cleanouts and inspection access provided ahead of grouting so approvals stay on schedule
  • Mortar and grout materials specified for Florida humidity and coastal conditions
